Chess In Mumbai

I think that most important is the ability to able to be consistent.
Everybody has huge variation trees on their computers at home, but it’s also
about being able to maintain your concentration for the entire tournament, and
in one tournament after another. –

Hurrah!!!! India topped the medals tally and bagged a total of 10 medals at the Asian Championship at Al Ain ( 5 golds, 3 silver and 2 bronze). See final medal tally here

Shardul Gagare
has done India and Maharashtra proud by coming first in the Boys under 10 category at the Asian Championships held in Al Ain. Though FM Girish Koushik ( second place) also scored 7 points, Shardul had a better progressive.

Kudos to G.V.Revanth Reddy, who topped in the Boys under 8 category with a one point lead.

Priyanka Kumari (Girls under 12 topper), Pratusha B and Sweety Patel ( Girls under 10 first and second respectively) , Ivana Maria Furtado (Girls under 8 topper) have also done India proud. Well done and keep up the good work.
